Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve …

You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Our House of Hope volunteers are AMAZING! They are a vital part of our foundation. Each one serves with immense love, compassion, kindness, and integrity. They educate, inspire, and empower our students to dream BIG and make a difference in the world!

PROJECTS AT HOUSE OF HOPE

In addition to the weekly classes we offer at the House of Hope Foundation, we run various projects throughout the year that enable us to keep SHARING HOPE & LOVE with the children, teens, and families of the vulnerable community of Comuna 13 in Medellin, Colombia!

  • We offer weekly mental health services provided by a Christian professional psychologist to the children, teens, and their parents.

  • We clean, paint, and repair homes and the neighborhood alongside our students, teaching them how to serve and love one another and their community.

  • We distribute groceries and offer individual prayers for each family with the help of various mission teams.

  • We inspire pregnant and new mothers by providing spiritual, psychological, and lactation resources through our partnership with The Contraste Project Foundation.

  • The children and teens learn to heal and cope with drugs, gangs, and violence through theater and art, thanks to our partnership with LaParla Corporation.

  • We host an event where each child receives new clothes, gifts, and enjoys a Christmas party, aiming to bring smiles and share the true meaning of Christmas.
